Every breed gets a score from 0 to 10 combining how well it matches your quiz answers (60%) with our independent breed quality assessment (40%). The quality assessment covers space fit, insurance risk, health costs, temperament, and ease of ownership.
Breed health data from OFA health surveys and veterinary literature. Cost data from 2025-2026 US market research. Insurance risk ratings based on published insurer breed restriction lists. All data is reviewed and updated regularly.
